This may be a new blog, but the 'like' in the blog address just wasn't enough to convey my feelings towards photography.

And besides, the new blog is even better. bwahaha.

Kuala Penyu (Turtle Bay)

on 26th to 27th of July, my university's Photography Club had a 2 day 1 night outing or trip to the Turtle Bay, about 15-20Km away from my Kampung (village) , Beaufort. At first, I wasn't into it as I've passed the area through and didn't see much attraction. But boy, was I wrong.

The chalet we had was so much better than I imagined it to be. everyone's room had good electrical supply along with airconditioning, ceiling fan, comfy beds with comforters and best of all, a beautiful view of the beach. Our chalet was literaly just beside the ocean! The places we went to take photos were all beautiful and memorable. It felt like we were having the holidays in an island. I personally , could say that, just for RM45, it was a superb trip as everything (accommodations, transportation, and meals) was fully prepared. :) So all the credits goes out to the Committee Members of Unirazak Photography Cluband our model, Quenie (excluding me because I didn't do any :/ ) for their brilliant effort! :D

I am definitely going back there again someday :)

Hello!

Hey there :) I'm Mahira. This is my first post for my photography blog. I had a similar blog before, but due to laziness and the lack of motivation to update , I've deleted the old blog and starting new with this one :)

So to keep it simple, I'll be updating some posts time after time on all the photos I shot and edited. I use A Canon Powershot Pro G10 and Photoshop CS3. (Yeah, I know. Pretty lame of me to use 'unprofessional' and 'outdated' tools of the trade, right?)

But heck, both the camera and the software have done brilliant justice to me. I learn more through this semi-dslr camera and gain so many knowledge of camera functions and shooting techniques instead of jumping into a crash course full dslr (which usually leaves a lot of us in a state of muzziness ), Though I do admit that I've not mastered my editing software...think I know only about 55% of it. (teehee)

Well that's about all there is to know. I am active in Deviantart and Facebook. I am not active in Flickr at all but things will change for sure now that my photography blog is back on :)
